Seribu Islands Regency Administration is going to report on the homestay development in Onrust Island to Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama.

Responding on this matter, Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo,
asked Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department to stop homestay development before getting permission from Jakarta Governor."Development in the cultural heritage island must have permission from the governor, ranging from utilization including also points that will be developed," said Budi, Wednesday (11/18).

"There should be coordination among related units regarding any development, but it does not happened, it seems deliberate action," he stressed.
He added, as the department that was given authority to maintain local assets should know about local laws and restrictions on development of a cultural heritage without permission.
"We will report any action that violates the rules to the governor, including Building Permit (IMB). But it would be initiated with warning letter," he told.
As known, the development of two homestays in the size of 4x8 square meters has already reached 80 percent with workmanship about two weeks with period 60 days. Besides that, there have been four foundations are allegedly to set up a new homestay again.
